Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern your use of the Surface Specialists website and any enquiry you make through it. By using this website you accept these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of them please do not use our website.
Who we are
Surface Specialists operates this website for resin flooring, resin driveways and garage floor coatings in the North West of England and across the United Kingdom. We help customers find a suitable specialist flooring contractor for their project. We do not carry out installation work ourselves.
Our role and your contract
Surface Specialists operates a network of independent specialist flooring contractors. When you make an enquiry we assess your requirements and match you with a contractor from our network who covers your area and type of work. That contractor will contact you directly to arrange a site survey and provide a quotation. Any quotation, any resulting contract and the installation work itself are between you and the contractor. Surface Specialists is not a party to that contract and does not carry out, supervise, price or guarantee the work.
Use of this website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not use it in any way that causes damage to the website or impairs its availability, or in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful. The content on this website is provided for general information about the services our contractors offer and does not constitute a contract or a binding quotation.
Enquiries and quotations
Any prices, timescales or specifications shown on this website or mentioned in response to an enquiry are for general guidance only and are not a quotation. A firm quotation is provided by the contractor in writing after a site survey, because the final cost of a resin floor depends on the size and condition of the substrate, the level of preparation required and the system chosen. We do not set, approve or guarantee the prices, timescales or specifications a contractor offers. No contract for works exists until you and the contractor agree one.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos and page layout, is owned by or licensed to Surface Specialists and is protected by copyright. You may view and print pages for your own personal use but you must not reproduce, republish or redistribute any part of this website without our written permission.
Accuracy of information
We take care to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and current. We do not warrant that the content is complete, accurate or free from error and technical guidance is general in nature rather than advice for a specific project. You should rely on the written specification and quotation the contractor provides for your own installation.
Links to other websites
This website may contain links to third party websites for your convenience. We have no control over the content of those websites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss that may arise from your use of them.
Limitation of liability
We provide this website on an as is basis and make no representations or warranties of any kind about its content or availability. Because any quotation, contract and the installation work are between you and the contractor, we accept no liability for the workmanship, the quotation, the conduct or the acts or omissions of any contractor we match you with. Any claim or dispute relating to a survey, a quotation or the work must be taken up with the contractor directly. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
Privacy
We handle any personal information you provide in line with our privacy policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it and the fact that we pass your enquiry to a contractor so they can contact you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute relating to them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
